The Fishing Communities of Ikot Etuk Idung, Ute Antai and Ute Bramah in MBO Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State encountered Niger Delta Militants raiding their communities and making away with valuables and raping their female victims. It was also reported that apart from raping the married
women, the militants also stole clothes, money and fish in the houses where they assaulted the women.
