Arsenal star, who plays in England’s national team, is currently spending time with his family - who reside in Ghana's second largest city, Kumasi.
The 26 year old Arsenal star who was born to Ghanaian parents in 1990, is expected to stay in Ghana for the next couple of days before he flies out to start pre-season with the Gunners.
Confirming that he was in Ghana via his Twitter page, Danny Welbeck, tweeted a photo of a school he and his family built at Nkawie.
The 26-year-old tweeted;
