CAPITAL FÜTBOL NG presents the second edition of the annual Capital Cup,
sequential of annual Capital League, which is held yearly between July-September.
The Cup is a hybrid tournament to be played on both 5-aside and 7-aside. It will be
played using knockout 2-leg tie format, consisting of 32 teams that will play against
each other for the span of 3 days. Enjoyable competitive football fused with fun and
entertainment for both the players and spectators will be at the centre of Capital
Cup, which will be held at Planet Futsal in Utako, Abuja’s biggest premier 5-aside
destination. This will be the second edition; with subsequent editions taking place
(like any other continuous league) that will be bigger and better with more teams
involved.
The competition itself will attract a niche crowd of players and spectators made up
mainly of young, football loving, active, health-conscious, tech-savvy and sociable
individuals and groups. We at Capital Fütbol NG have structured the competition such
that this crowd will be engaged through various avenues such as our social media
platforms, website, giveaways and highlights during and after the event and much
more. Over the years, we have seen a significant growth in the Capital Futbol NG
following, with over 10,000 individuals following us both online and offline.
The competition will be held on the following days:
